In June 1999 the International Peer Review Group concluded that the success of the mechanical transplantation system had been one of the highlights of Cockburn Cements Environmental Management Plan.

To date Eco Sub 1 & the new version Eco Sub II with a larger capacity have transplanted in excess of 2000 sea grass sods. Survival rates continue to average 70% survival of all sods transplanted.
