Salvage & Rescue

Franmarine has performed in excess of 200 salvages of stricken vessels throughout Western Australia. Salvages range from small pleasure craft up to Super Panamax Class Vessels that enter our waters. Often the salvages performed are time critical to prevent injury or damage to other vessels or public infrastructure. Franmarine has a proven track record of safely performing recovery of stricken vessels, demolition and wreck removal.

In association with United Salvage, Franmarine have been directly involved with the salvages of the MT. Kirki (Lancelin), MV. Cebu Sam Miguel (Esperance) and MV. Boa Force (Thevenard Island).

In our own right, the company has successfully salvaged in excess of two hundred vessels (ranging up to 1200 tonne) throughout Western Australia.

James Fisher Defence calls upon Franmarine to carry out underwater and surface support for LR5 submarines to perform Collins class submarine rescues, a vital assistance for the Australian Navy.
