Dampier Salt approached Franmarine after previous failures by other contractors to effectively access their worn-down 100,000 tone loading facility mooring at Cape Cuvier, 100 km north of Carnarvon, and perform maintenance and repair services.
Franmarine performed the required range of inspections and maintenance system services on Dampier Salt’s moorings in exceptional isolation, hazardous swell, onshore weather and extreme marine wildlife conditions, without injury or accident.
Franmarine met the client’s brief, restoring the facility to peak operational condition. The facility’s exceptionally isolated and dangerous conditions made this one of the most challenging commercial dive sites anywhere in Australia. Franmarine completed the inspection and maintenance as required; an achievement that made our team very proud.
