Legislation, Standards and Codes of Practice
All Franmarine Underwater Services (FUS) diving operations will conform to the following Acts and Regulations:
- Occupational diving Operations Part 1: Standard Operational Practice AS2299.1:2015
- Commonwealth – OPGGSA 2006 as amended; and,
- Local Statutory requirements as applicable.
Copies of these Acts and associated regulations will be held at the FUS head office as required.
All levels of management shall have a direct involvement and demonstrate commitment to the Health and Safety Program as a function of their daily responsibilities.
Franmarine, as the employer of divers and other associated personnel, has responsibility for the safety and health of all persons employed by the Company, whether as employees or under contract for services.
Responsibilities in the Health and Safety Programme
All personnel have the responsibility to ensure that safe work practices and workplace safety standards are maintained, and that compliance with all relevant statutes and safety policies are adhered to. All personnel have responsibilities related to health and safety.
